Audi A7 Sportback

2013 Audi A7 Sportback, Put together the load capacity of a station with the appearance of a coupe, the drivability of a sedan but the comfort and space on board an average SUV, low center of gravity and a lively engine and some details with the comfort and rated to ‘entertainment of a limousine. Shake well and will come out of this new segment of the car including the A7 Sportback is a candidate as the main interpreter. The Audi A7 Sportback in fact presents itself as a perfect blend of sportiness and elegance, with a touch of appeal and personality than many sedans seem to have lost with time. Not done mystery fact of how the aesthetic appearance results in this case one of the cardinal points, the obbietti was precisely that of concentrating in the same car all the characteristics of a comfortable sedan, but without having to keep that look too serious and austere. For this reason the Audi designers were required lines in highly personal, that regalassero Audi A7 this aspect at the same time aggressive and sophisticated, contrasting with the classic style of the brand rather innovative lines, such as those of the tail and the rear pillar.

The Audi A7 Sportback is obviously not only offers refined aesthetics, it does not skimp at all in the field of applied technology, much comfort as on the solutions adopted for engine and transmission. For the rest there is trim and a steering system that ensures excellent driveability well supported by the all-wheel drive Quattro.

We tested the Audi A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI Quattro version with 313 horsepower and 650 Nm engine power and performance, but is also able to ensure good performance in consumption associated with emissions that were unthinkable a few years ago for an engine so powerful. The sample under test offers us numerous options, including the Adaptive Air Suspension and the Audi Drive Select that allow you to customize the dynamic response of the car while driving. We used the Audi A7, as well as for our tests, even for our trip to the Geneva Motor Show, 2013, also appreciating so its evident benefits of tireless traveler quick and easy: the journey has been long and has enabled us to touch all aspects of this anomalous sedan, appreciating the many advantages resulting from daily use, paying attention (albeit with difficulty) and also to any small defects. In this article, however, we will focus primarily on those who are the dynamic aspects of the car, on driving as well as on the technique of the new Audi A7, leaving aside any insights on the design of the interiors and comfort. Topics that will treat them separately and in the coming days in association with its sophisticated infotainment system Audi MMI.

Aston Martin DB9 - 2013

2013 Aston Martin Vanquish is a new vehicle that is in fact made from the platform of its ancestor, Aston Martin DB9 which is known to be released sometime in the year of 2005. Even the platform of this previous series of car is used in the new Aston Martin Vanquish it does not mean that this new car also has the same feature as the DB9. The fact is that there are some developments and also enhancements that make the car to be quite different in some ways.
The first difference that is found in this Vanquish series is that it has lighter body compared to DB9. This lighter body is something that is resulted from the use of carbon-fibre material that is known to adorn some parts of this car exterior without making the car looks bad from the outside. Those parts are; roof, bottom skirt, some parts under the boot, and the last but not least is in the chassis. The body of this car is even lighter because all of those carbon-fibre parts are purposely left unpainted. It is so reasonable then if the car is way lighter than the DB9 series.
Besides the previous exterior feature that makes the car to have lighter body, something that of course affects the performance of the car as well, the interior of it is something exceptional too. Most parts of the interior are covered with premium quality leather material that is perfect with some quilt pattern on it. The choice of this material is the one that makes this vehicle to look classical in the inside. This thing is certainly the one that will make this Aston Martin, which is known to be completed with powerful V12 engine, to be a choice to consider this year, especially by those who are fans of this auto brand.

Volkswagen Touareg 2013

The Volkswagen Touareg SUV plays two roles for the VW brand. On one hand, it's the brand's only mid-size utility vehicle, and on the other hand it's a premium up-sell for owners who want to upgrade from their Jetta or Passat sedans. And as Volkswagen has lowered prices in recent years and upped value for most of its other mainstream models, the Touareg, which costs from $44,000 in base form to about $64k in loaded Hybrid guise, feels out of step with VW's new focus.

With that in mind, VW has worked to give its mid-size utility vehicle some broader appeal. And while the price remains a major hangup, and while it was known up until last year for its extraordinarily stout construction, it last year traded in some of its rugged, off-road image for more of a focus on suburban families.
The Touareg used to be grossly overweight, but with its last redesign a couple of years ago VW made it lighter overall, and better-detailed inside. Astoundingly--through the use of advanced materials and techniques--it engineered about 450 pounds out of the vehicle, gaining up to 20 better fuel efficiency.
Eight-speed automatic transmissions and full-time four-wheel drive are the building blocks in the powertrain department, while under the hood there are three quite different engine choices. Base versions get a conventional gasoline V-6--a 3.6-liter, 280-horsepower narrow-angle V-6 (VR6)--while two other versions show the way toward both more power and better gas mileage, albeit at a premium. The clean-diesel 3.0-liter V-6 TDI has been our favorite of the lineup, with its strong torque output (407 lb-ft) and confident feel for towing (up to 7,700 pounds) or highway cruising. And for 2013 a new version of this engine steps up to 240 hp and even better fuel efficiency.
Otherwise, a Hybrid model combines a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 with an electric motor system, sandwiched between the engine and transmission, for a combined 380 horsepower--and an EPA rating of 20 mpg in city driving. It gets a better boost in highway driving compared to other hybrids, due to the system's ability to disengage the engine and motor for long high-speed coasting.
The Touareg still offers way more truck-like ability than most other crossovers do--and more off-road and towing ability than most shoppers are likely to need. Think of that as a plus or a minus, depending on priorities.

Range Rover 2013

Dropping the 'Vogue' moniker, the all-new Range Rover will retain its classic boxiness, but more than a few of the Evoque's traits have crept into the big luxury off-roader's attitude. Up front, the new model does away with the blunted face of its predecessor, switching the upright look for the Evoque's laid-back approach. Surrounding the familiar three-bar grille are slender new headlights wrapping a talon into the front quarter-panel - a look mirrored at the back end. The tail-lights have also dropped the familiar two-ring internal layout, introducing a pair of square LED lights in their place. There's new bumpers at both ends, and the profile reveals a softly tapered roof with a taller belt-line and new gills that stretch further down the front doors. "Designing the next generation Range Rover, following over forty years of success, came with a huge responsibility to protect the DNA of such an icon," Land Rover design boss Gerry McGovern said of the new Range Rover. "Our design team worked incredibly hard to capture the elegant proportions and pure surfaces which have been a feature of the best Range Rover designs." The Evoque influence continues in the cabin, with a streamlined new dash design dominated by a large centre display and fewer dials. There's also a brand-new steering wheel design and a new Jaguar-like rotary gear selector that lies flush with the centre console when not in use. Land Rover says the new 'Rangey' benefits from a new all-aluminium monocoque body, 39 percent lighter than its steel predecessor and saving up to 420kg in weight. There's also brand-new air suspension designed, Land Rover says, to deliver the same luxury comfort and flatter cornering performance. Engines Engine options will include a V8 petrol engine and TDV6 and SDV8 diesel options. 2013 range rover overseas 19 Diesel options include the 190kW 3.0 litre TDV6, and the 250kW 4.4 litre SDV8, while the petrol end will be held up the big 375kW 5.0 litre supercharged V8. All models in the new Range Rover line-up will be offered exclusively with a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission - also featured in the updated Jaguar line-up. Fuel consumption in the smaller of the diesels has been cut by a huge 22 percent, dropping to 7.5 l/100km. Carbon emissions are listed at 196g/km. Later in 2013, the range will add a diesel-electric hybrid model, powered by Jaguar Land Rover's 3.0 litre V6 turbodiesel and an electric motor, combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a lithium-ion battery
